Role Description The Technical Sales Engineer – Aftermarket is a full-time role responsible for supporting customers with aftermarket products and services related to BAC’s cooling towers and solutions. Day-to-day activities include responding to customer inquiries, identifying aftermarket sales opportunities, preparing technical and commercial offers, and providing product selection and application support. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and global partners to ensure accurate sizing, configuration, and performance of replacement parts, upgrades, and service solutions. The Technical Sales Engineer will maintain regular contact with clients, follow up on quotations, manage order handover processes, and assist in resolving technical issues in coordination with technical support resources. This position also contributes to market feedback, continuous improvement of aftermarket offerings, and development of customer-focused sales tools and documentation.

Qualifications
- Strong Technical Sales and Sales Engineering skills to identify aftermarket opportunities, prepare proposals, and close deals.
- Experience in Sales with a focus on customer relationship management, account follow-up, and pipeline development.
- Technical Support capabilities to assist customers with product selection, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Excellent Communication skills for clear technical explanations, professional customer interactions, and effective collaboration with internal teams.
- Background in mechanical engineering, HVAC/R, or a related technical field; bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
- Understanding of cooling systems, heat transfer, or industrial equipment is highly beneficial, especially within aftermarket or service environments.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and use CRM and standard office software tools effectively.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills relevant to the region are an advantage.
