Technical Talent Acquisition Associate

Black Birch Group is looking for a Technical Recruiter to identify, engage, and deliver qualified technical talent for our clients.

This role combines strong recruiting and sourcing skills with an understanding of technical positions. The Technical Recruiter will manage candidates throughout the recruitment process while maintaining accurate ATS records, developing talent pipelines, and effectively using recruiting platforms and job boards.

Requirements

Technical Recruitment

• Source and recruit qualified candidates for IT, cybersecurity, systems, networking, cloud, software, and other technical positions.
  
• Review resumes and assess technical experience, skills, certifications, and overall alignment with position requirements.
  
• Conduct structured initial screenings to evaluate technical background, communication, availability, compensation expectations, and overall fit.
  
• Understand technical job requirements and translate them into effective sourcing strategies.
  
• Coordinate technical assessments and additional evaluation steps when required.
  

ATS & Recruiting Platform Management

• Manage candidate activity and recruitment workflows within Zoho Recruit (ATS).
  
• Maintain accurate candidate profiles, stages, notes, communication history, and recruitment documentation.
  
• Ensure candidate records and requisition information are consistently updated.
  
• Manage job postings, candidate pipelines, and recruitment activities across LinkedIn and other relevant job boards.
  
• Utilize recruiting platforms and databases effectively to maximize sourcing reach and pipeline quality.
  
• Track candidate progress and maintain organized recruitment data.
  

Sourcing & Talent Pipeline Development

• Develop targeted sourcing strategies for technical positions based on skills, seniority, location, language, compensation, and client requirements.
  
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, ATS databases, professional networks, referrals, and other sourcing channels.
  
• Build and maintain active talent pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill positions.
  
• Engage passive candidates and establish long-term relationships with technical professionals.
  
• Continuously research new sourcing channels and recruiting methods.
  

Candidate Experience

• Conduct professional and engaging candidate conversations.
  
• Clearly communicate job expectations, client requirements, compensation, work modality, and recruitment process.
  
• Maintain timely communication and follow-up throughout the candidate journey.
  
• Ensure candidates are properly prepared before advancing to client interviews or assessments.
  

Client & Team Collaboration

• Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to understand and clarify technical requirements.
  
• Ask effective discovery questions to ensure a clear understanding of client needs.
  
• Present qualified candidates with concise summaries of their experience and alignment with the role.
  
• Communicate recruitment progress, challenges, and pipeline updates to internal stakeholders.
  
• Represent Black Birch professionally with candidates, clients, and external contacts.
