Role Description

The Workday Team Lead is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Workday HR systems to support client operations. This role includes leading a small team of Workday specialists, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery of system updates, integrations, and reports. The Workday Team Lead collaborates with HR, payroll, and technical stakeholders to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices within Workday modules. Daily responsibilities involve managing tickets, validating data integrity, supporting HR processes such as onboarding and employee changes, and documenting system procedures. The role also involves coaching team members, coordinating with nearshore staff, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and user experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4–6 years of relevant Workday experience.
• Strong expertise in at least one of the following areas: HCM, Payroll, or Integrations.
• Previous team leadership or coordination experience.
• Great communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and data integrity skills, with attention to detail and strong documentation habits.
• Clear, professional communication skills in English; bilingual Spanish/English proficiency is highly beneficial.
