Technical Virtual Assistant (Campaign Operations) | Remote | South Africa | EST Times

Safhire connects skilled South African professionals with US-based businesses for long-term remote roles. We are hiring a Technical Virtual Assistant to support a US-based fundraising professional who runs online fundraising campaigns for organisations. You will take ownership of routine campaign setup, technical requests, and administrative work, with full training provided on the platforms used. If you are tech-savvy, quick to learn new software, and enjoy solving problems independently, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Learn the fundraising campaign platform through training videos, manuals, and direct instruction
• Set up new fundraising campaigns and make changes to campaign pages
• Respond to routine technical requests from clients in writing via WhatsApp groups and email
• Send contracts and create campaigns through HubSpot
• Help set up and upload Canva templates
• Manage LinkedIn and Facebook pages using provided content and photos
• Prepare occasional client emails
• Complete billing twice a month
• Support additional administrative projects as the role grows, such as contracts and class materials

What we're looking for

• Strong general computer skills and the ability to learn unfamiliar software independently
• Demonstrated technical aptitude and confidence solving routine technical issues
• Experience in technical support, website or campaign administration, CRM operations, or a similar hands-on digital role is preferred
• Clear, professional written communication
• Quick, organised, and responsive, with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable following training materials and detailed instructions
• Familiarity with HubSpot, Canva, or AI tools is a plus, but not required
• Website or coding knowledge is a bonus
• Available full time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST
