Whizdom Recruitment is partnering with a major Queensland organisation seeking an experienced Test Analyst to support the delivery of critical ICT solutions.

We're looking for a hands-on tester who can contribute across the full software testing lifecycle, from test planning and execution through to defect management, reporting and continuous improvement. You'll work closely with delivery teams and software vendors, applying risk-based and requirements-driven testing practices.

Provide vital support across:

• Functional and non-functional testing
• Regression and End-to-End (E2E) testing
• Test planning, test cases, scripts and test data
• Defect reporting, triage, root cause analysis and retesting
• Quality assurance across business requirements and system integrations
• Test metrics, reporting and continuous improvement

You'll be joining a collaborative ICT environment where strong testing discipline, stakeholder engagement and an ability to quickly understand complex business and technical requirements will be key.

We're particularly interested in candidates with:

✅ ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) or equivalent

✅ Recent hands-on functional testing experience

✅ Enterprise Content Management and/or Data Migration testing experience

✅ JIRA, Zephyr and Confluence experience

✅ User stories and acceptance criteria experience

✅ Basic SQL skills

✅ Experience working with software vendors and semi-Agile delivery teams

Additional ISTQB certifications in Technical Test Analysis, Test Automation or AI Testing will be highly regarded.
