Test Automation Consultant

Job Title: Automation Test Engineer - 12 month contract

Role Overview

This role is for an Automation Tester. This is to join an existing project which is an expansion phase and where additional contractors are required to assist with automation testing.

Key Responsibilities

Key Requirements:

• Perform automated testing across multiple projects, ensuring quality and reliability of software solutions.
• Apply hands-on experience with both Compass and Sonata to execute testing activities across the relevant platforms.
• Design, develop, execute and maintain automated test scripts to validate system functionality.
• Identify, document and track defects, ensuring issues are accurately reported and resolved.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Work independently while collaborating effectively with developers, testers and project teams.
• Manage multiple testing priorities and deliver quality results within tight project deadlines.
• Contribute to the successful delivery of projects within a fast-paced environment.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of hands-on Automation Testing experience.
• Proven experience with both Compass and Sonata is essential. These are strict prerequisites.
• Strong automation testing skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced project environment.
• Comfortable working to tight deadlines and supporting multiple projects.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• If you are immediately available that could be advantageous
• ISTQB certified

Qualifications

• ISTQB certification
• 3-5 years automation testing practical working experience using both Compass/TestCompass and Sonata.
