Test Manager – Bank

We are looking for an experienced Test Manager to lead testing activities for a new Anti-Financial Crime system at a banking client. You will be responsible for test planning, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing testing risks, and ensuring effective execution across the testing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and coordinating the testing activities for the new Netreveal system.
• Developing the testing strategy, planning timelines and resources, and defining the required test environments.
• Coordinating the testing activities of all relevant business and technology teams.
• Monitoring testing risks and overseeing the management of identified defects.
• Preparing test reports and coordinating manual and automated testing activities.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience as a Test Manager, preferably in a banking environment.
• Experience in testing integrated banking systems.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies and Jira test management tools.
• Willingness to work on-site, with the option to work from home 2 days per week after onboarding.

Nice to have:

• Experience in Anti-Financial Crime, particularly anti-money laundering (AML) or sanctions screening.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• ISTQB certification or experience with Jira Xray.

Conditions:

• Hybrid work model, 3 days/week office presence is required in one of Budapest's central point
• Contractor status is preferred
