🎯 Your Role

As Test Strategy Manager, you will define the test strategy and high-level plan for a large-scale modernization program. The scope brings a SaaS platform together with hardware and integrations across this large corporate’s wider technology environment.

You will establish the testing framework, including governance, risk management, quality measures, responsibilities and entry and exit criteria. You will coordinate the approach across projects, releases, locations and test teams, working closely with IT architecture, delivery and an offshore test manager.

IMPORTANT: This is primarily a strategic role: you will set the direction and help get the approach underway, while ongoing execution remains with internal teams. Therefore, you are an experienced, organized test professional who can quickly understand a complex environment, connect stakeholders and come with an end-to-end test strategy.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the program-wide test strategy and high-level test plan
• Define testing governance, roles, risks, quality measures and entry and exit criteria
• Coordinate functional, integration, regression, automated, performance and UAT across projects and releases
• Identify dependencies and end-to-end scenarios, adapting the test approach to help protect business continuity
• Monitor test quality and progress through status reporting, assess deviations and escalate significant issues
• Align test teams with other delivery teams, identify resource and knowledge needs and spot suitable opportunities for regression testing or automation

• An initial six-month contract with an attractive daily rate
• A hybrid arrangement of three days on-site and two days working from home each week

🫵 Who You Are

• Experience creating or shaping a broad test strategy in a large, complex organization
• Experience with SaaS platforms and integrated testing, including software and hardware interactions
• Strong knowledge of test planning, governance, risk, quality criteria and entry and exit criteria
• An organized, structured approach and the ability to get up to speed quickly in a new organization
• Fluent in Dutch and English
