This role is responsible for educating and supporting Thryv clients with Google Business Profiles. With a focus on client satisfaction, engagement, and retention, this role is dedicated to navigating and supporting clients at all spend levels.
Responsibilities
- Conducts and owns support requests for GBP and Managed GBP products for Thryv clients while clearly defining and setting clear customer expectations for all involved. Effectively educates, demonstrates, and recommends options to best resolve a clients GBP issue utilizing Google best practices. Clearly and concisely establishes expectations for resolution timeline based on severity of issue and Google response trends. Builds rapport and trust with client and internal partners.
- Completes preview of GBP profile in preparation of all outbound calls. Conducts subsequent calls with client until goals and priorities are met as needed. Works with client to update GBP as needed and/or provide requested information to Google to help resolve issues. Walks client through the knowledge center, videos, and email offering multiple methods of assistance to suit clients’ needs regarding their GBP.
- Facilitates client issue resolution during inbound calls by working with the client and shepherding them through Google’s GBP resolution process. Provides technical support when necessary. Troubleshoots and replicates issues. Anticipates clients’ needs and offers solutions to minimize second call avoidance if possible.
Who We’re Looking For
- Associate's degree (or international equivalent) or equivalent experience, required.
- Up to 2 years of related experience, required.
- 2+ years of related experience, preferred.
- Foundational industry knowledge with the ability to gain an understanding of search, website, display, and social management.
- Ability to utilize industry related tools such as Salesforce, Telephony Systems, MS Office, Vision, Sync, Thryv Marketing, etc.
- Ability to pass regular certification and attend development courses as deemed necessary.
- Customer service oriented with the ability to build rapport and trust over the phone via other media (chat, screen sharing, video, email, etc.).
- Organization and time management skills with the ability to be proactive, plan, prioritize work, multitask, and provide follow-up in a fast-paced environment while remaining detail oriented.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a highly collaborative team in a dynamic, technology-driven, remote-first environment.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate clearly using excellent grammatical, spelling, and proofreading skills to discuss features as well as benefits of Sync and Thryv Marketing.
- Ability to travel less than 5% of the time.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must successfully complete pre-employment screening process, as required.
- Must successfully complete any required training or orientation courses, as needed.
