What you’ll do Current State Configuration Analysis: Analyze existing Time & Attendance system configurations including pay rules, work rules, schedules, accruals, attendance policies, calendars, workflows, and integrations. Document current-state system behavior and business processes, identify dependencies and compliance requirements, and partner with regional stakeholders to understand operational needs. Requirements Gathering & Solution Analysis: Lead workshops with Payroll, HR, Operations, IT, and business stakeholders to document and validate functional, operational, and compliance requirements. Perform gap analysis and translate business needs into configuration specifications. Support solution design with implementation partners. Configuration Leadership: Act as the primary business-side configuration lead throughout the North American implementation. Support design, build, migration, and validation of pay rules, work rules, shift differentials, overtime calculations, schedules, attendance policies, leave and accrual programs, time collection processes, approval workflows, and workforce management integrations. Review and validate vendor configurations ensuring alignment with payroll and operational needs. Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration: Serve as a trusted advisor on workforce management processes and configuration. Facilitate design and configuration review sessions, work closely with implementation partners to ensure accurate translation of requirements, and support issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle. Business Readiness & Knowledge Transfer: Support development of process documentation and training materials. Participate in cutover planning and go-live readiness activities. Conduct configuration walkthroughs and knowledge transfer sessions. Assist with post-go-live stabilization and continuous improvement. What you’ll bring Must-haves: 2 to 5 years of experience implementing, configuring, or supporting Time & Attendance or Workforce Management solutions with strong Canadian payroll and compliance knowledge. Proven ability to translate business requirements into configured workforce management solutions, including experience with ADP eTime and UKG Workforce Central platforms. Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills with experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and working with geographically dispersed teams. Experience supporting testing, validation, and deployment activities in system implementations or migrations. Nice-to-haves: Exposure to collective bargaining agreement environments and payroll systems experience. Experience with additional workforce management platforms such as UKG Pro WFM, WorkForce Software, Dayforce, SAP SuccessFactors Time, or Workday Time Tracking. Previous involvement in global workforce management transformation programs. Bilingual English/French capabilities and experience in manufacturing, mining, or industrial operational environments.
