As our Trainee, Finance, your mission is to actively contribute to our Controlling function from day one. Working closely alongside our Finance and Business Controlling Manager, you will assist in tracking budgets, analyzing discrepancies, and creating polished reports for decision-makers across the business. Over this structured 6-month program, you will gain direct experience with global enterprise systems like SAP,thrive in an open, supportive team culture, and kickstart your career in global finance with confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operational activities tied to standard financial reporting.
• Perform routine end-to-end controlling tasks across multiple internal systems and data sources.
• Support the Finance & Business Controlling Manager in communication, follow-ups, and escalation processes to ensure stakeholder alignment.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across service lines and at a consolidated level.
• Help prepare regular management reporting packages for service line leads and corporate stakeholders.
• Handle ad-hoc financial and data requests in an accurate and timely manner.

What we are looking for

• Currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
• Familiarity with basic management accounting and corporate finance concepts.
• No previous experience required — we are ready to train you.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Good practical working knowledge of MS Excel (and general MS Office / Google Workspace).
• Strong analytical mindset with good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and in a team.
