About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized Training Coordinator to manage the day-to-day operations of employee training and onboarding.
The Training Coordinator will coordinate training cohorts from the time a new hire's start date is confirmed through the completion of training. This includes scheduling cohorts, coordinating trainers, tracking trainee progress, maintaining training materials, and ensuring new hires have the resources they need to begin successfully.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate Training Cohorts: Schedule incoming training groups, coordinate trainers, and ensure new hires have the necessary access, equipment, and resources before their start date.
- Track Trainee Progress: Maintain accurate records of attendance, training completion, assessments, and overall progress. Identify and flag trainees who may be falling behind.
- Maintain Training Materials: Keep training materials, assessments, guides, and related resources accurate and up to date.
- Coordinate Trainer Support: Provide trainers and team leads with updated materials, schedules, and trainee information.
- Support Team Lead Training: Help organize and standardize training for newly promoted team leads and facilitate training sessions when needed.
- Maintain Training Records: Ensure trainee and training records are complete, accurate, and properly organized.
- Gather Feedback: Collect trainee and trainer feedback and identify opportunities to improve training materials and processes.
- Resolve Training Issues: Proactively identify potential issues before training begins and coordinate solutions to minimize delays or disruptions.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience coordinating training, onboarding, or learning programs.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple training cohorts simultaneously.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Proficiency with Google Sheets or similar spreadsheet tools.
- Comfortable facilitating training sessions or presentations when needed.
- Strong communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Ability to work a schedule that overlaps with U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
Preferred Experience
Experience in any of the following is an advantage:
- Medical records, healthcare, or HIPAA-regulated environments
- BPO or operations environments
- High-volume employee onboarding
- Developing training materials, quizzes, job aids, or tutorials
- Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Google Classroom or similar training platforms
