About The Role
The Transport & Logistics Coordinator plays a key role in coordinating transport movements and logistics activities that support V/Line's operations. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers to manage transport requirements, coordinate schedules, support procurement activities, and ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with organisational and legislative requirements.

This position will be paid in line with the V/Line Rail Operations and Administration Employees Agreement 2023 and offers a starting salary from $94,897 inclusive of superannuation, with the potential for a higher package based on skills, experience and overall suitability . - Coordinate transport and logistics activities to support operational requirements and changing business priorities.
- Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, transport providers and contractors to support service delivery outcomes.
- Support transport operations through effective planning, cost management and procurement coordination.
- Review, process and maintain transport-related records, data, invoices and reporting.
- Contribute to process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Ensure activities comply with relevant safety, legislative, governance and organisational requirements.
About You

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Experience in logistics, transport coordination, purchasing, maintenance operations or a similar operational environment.
- Experience planning, coordinating or purchasing goods and services to support operational outcomes.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to analyse and manage operational data.
- Experience using JD Edwards or similar ERP systems.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders, suppliers and service providers.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and identifying opportunities to enhance processes and ways of working.
- The ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage competing demands in a dynamic environment.
- A collaborative, accountable and reliable approach, with a commitment to delivering agreed outcomes.
