Job Description Researcher (US Market) Location: Remote – South Africa Working Hours: UK Hours (with afternoon overlap with the US team) Salary: R18,000 – R22,000 per month (depending on experience) About the Role Our client is a specialist international recruitment business supporting a large-scale hiring project in the United States. They are looking for a proactive Researcher to build high-quality talent pipelines for their US recruitment consultants. This is not a traditional recruitment role. You will not be responsible for interviewing or managing candidates. Instead, your focus will be identifying, mapping and assessing relevant talent, creating strong candidate shortlists that enable the US consultants to engage with prospective hires. You'll play a key role in supporting a major recruitment project, helping build talent pools across technical and engineering markets in Texas. Key Responsibilities Conduct targeted market mapping to identify qualified Facilities Technician candidates across the designated Texas locations. Source candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, company websites and other online research tools. Build and maintain accurate candidate lists, ensuring all profiles meet the agreed search criteria- we will provide the formatting! Record all relevant candidate information within the agreed tracking system or spreadsheet. Prioritize candidates based on the project brief and quality criteria provided by the team. Pass shortlisted candidates to the Harper Harrison Austin team for qualification and engagement. Maintain high standards of accuracy, attention to detail and data quality at all times. Meet agreed daily and weekly sourcing targets while maintaining candidate quality. Work closely with the project lead, responding quickly to feedback and refining searches as hiring priorities evolve Working Hours This role is aligned to UK business hours, providing a daily overlap with the US recruitment team for collaboration and project updates while allowing dedicated time to build candidate pipelines. Requirements What We're Looking For ● Previous experience as a Researcher, Resourcer, Talent Sourcer or Recruitment Researcher. ● Strong candidate sourcing and Boolean search skills. ● Excellent ability to assess CVs against technical job requirements. ● Experience building talent pipelines rather than managing full recruitment processes. ● Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail. ● Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment. ● Strong written communication skills. Highly Desirable ● Experience recruiting within the US market (particularly Texas). ● Experience sourcing engineering, facilities, manufacturing, mechanical, electrical or technical professionals. ● Experience supporting high-volume or project-based recruitment campaigns. ● Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms.
