Summary

We are seeking a UX Designer to support the design and development of intuitive, user-centered digital experiences across web and/or mobile products. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on UX and product design work, including translating research and user needs into wireframes, prototypes, and polished digital experiences.

This opportunity is focused on UX/product design rather than primarily graphic or visual arts work. Candidates should be comfortable discussing their individual contributions to portfolio projects, the design decisions they made, and the process they followed from problem identification through final design.

What You'll Do

• Create high-quality, user-centered experiences for digital products and interfaces.
• Translate UX research insights and recommendations into tangible design concepts.
• Develop wireframes, mockups, interactive prototypes, and design specifications.
• Use Figma to create and communicate product designs.
• Design reusable interface elements and components.
• Apply established brand standards and design guidelines across products.
• Maintain and contribute to style guides and consistent design practices.
• Follow user-centered design methodologies throughout the design process.
• Partner with product and cross-functional teams to move concepts toward implementable solutions.
• Translate analytics and user data into design improvements and visual solutions.
• Design clean, usable interfaces across multiple form factors.
• Participate in workshops and collaborative design discussions.

What We're Looking For

• 1-3 years of product design, UX design, or closely related experience.
• Hands-on experience designing websites, mobile applications, or other digital products.
• Strong hands-on experience with Figma.
• Experience creating wireframes, mockups, prototypes, user flows, and/or design specifications.
• Understanding of user-centered design principles and UX methodologies.
• Ability to incorporate research findings, analytics, and user needs into design decisions.
• Working knowledge of core user interface concepts and technologies.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication, collaboration, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to clearly explain your personal contribution, design process, decisions, and outcomes for portfolio projects.

Portfolio Requirement

Your portfolio should demonstrate hands-on UX/product design experience, ideally involving web or mobile experiences. Candidates should be prepared to discuss:

• The user or business problem being solved
• Their specific role and individual contributions
• Research or insights that influenced the design
• Wireframing and prototyping work
• Key design decisions and trade-offs
• Use of Figma throughout the design process
• How the design evolved based on feedback, testing, or data

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Marketing, Design, or a related discipline, or equivalent applicable experience.

Preferred Background

• 1-3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience facilitating or participating in design workshops.
• Experience working with multiple personas, user groups, or product lines.
• Experience maintaining or working within established style guides or design systems.
• Consumer product industry experience is a plus.
