About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial professional to join a dynamic venture-building environment, contributing to the creation, development and growth of innovative digital businesses.

This position combines new venture creation, strategic business development, investment execution and portfolio management, offering the opportunity to work closely with founders, CEOs and investment professionals.

The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying new market opportunities, launching businesses and supporting portfolio companies through their different stages of growth.

Key Responsibilities

Venture Creation & Business Development

• Identify, assess and validate new business opportunities, with a particular focus on innovative B2B and B2C digital business models.
• Drive the development and launch of new ventures, from initial concept and business validation through to operational execution.
• Contribute to strategic planning, business model definition, go-to-market strategies and product development.
• Participate in building founding and management teams, identifying key talent and supporting organizational development.
• Evaluate potential investment opportunities, assessing commercial viability, scalability and long-term growth potential.

Portfolio Strategy & Investment Management

• Work alongside founders and executive teams to define and implement strategic growth initiatives across selected portfolio companies.
• Support business expansion through commercial partnerships, strategic alliances, joint ventures and international growth opportunities.
• Monitor business performance, analyzing financial and operational KPIs to identify areas for improvement and value creation.
• Contribute to fundraising processes, investment round structuring and investor relations.
• Participate in corporate transactions, including M&A processes, acquisitions, divestments, strategic partnerships and potential exits.
• Identify opportunities to generate synergies and share best practices across different businesses within the portfolio.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a professional who combines strong strategic capabilities with an entrepreneurial mindset and a hands-on approach to execution.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional experience in strategic consulting, investment banking/M&A, venture capital, or leadership positions within startups or scaleups.
• A minimum of 3 years of direct exposure to the Spanish startup and entrepreneurial ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of digital business models, investment dynamics and growth strategies.
• Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to translate complex business challenges into actionable strategies and communicate recommendations effectively.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate different stakeholders and operate in fast-paced environments.
• High level of autonomy, ownership and entrepreneurial drive.
• Genuine interest in technology, innovation, entrepreneurship and venture investing.
