Sebela Pharmaceuticals is building a leading gastroenterology company dedicated to improving the lives of patients. The Vice President, Operations & Insights will be a proven biopharmaceutical commercial leader with deep expertise in launch excellence, commercial operations, analytics, and business insights. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this position will lead the development and execution of the commercial operations infrastructure, analytics strategy, field effectiveness programs, and launch readiness initiatives necessary to support the successful launch and sustained growth of Tegoprazan, a novel potassium competitive acid blocker (P-CAB).
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serve as a key member of the Commercial Leadership Team, shaping and executing commercial and operational strategies.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure integrated planning and flawless execution across the commercial functions.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a quarterly business review process.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of sales incentive compensation programs to align field force performance with corporate objectives.
  • Oversee incentive compensation administration, goal setting, performance measurement, reporting, and governance processes.
  • Establish and monitor commercial KPIs and performance metrics to evaluate field force effectiveness and return on investment.
  • Develop, manage, and oversee the Commercial Operations budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across analytics, technology, field operations, launch activities, and vendor partnerships.
  • Partner with Finance to support forecasting, annual operating planning, and investment decisions related to commercial programs and launch readiness.
  • Oversee market insights, analytics, and competitive intelligence to deliver data-driven recommendations.
  • Work in partnership with marketing to conduct ongoing market research at an HCP and patient level.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing leadership on field force deployment, resource allocation, and performance reporting.
  • Develop and maintain sales tools and infrastructure, including CRM systems, analytics platforms, and dashboards.
  • Establish and manage a robust Commercial Data Environment in partnership with IT and external vendors.
  • Manage external vendors and consultants supporting analytics, meeting planning, launch excellence, and other operational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, industry guidelines, and company policies.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support organizational success.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience with deep expertise in analytics, marketing, commercial excellence, and operations within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrated success developing and executing launch strategy through deep understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscapes.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and managing sales incentive compensation programs within a pharmaceutical commercial organization.
  • Experience managing commercial operations budgets and supporting financial planning, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Advanced expertise in analytics, market research methodologies, and vendor management.
  • Must be skilled at applying data and analytics to strengthen field force performance, targeting, and customer engagement.
  • Experience building and maintaining complex market assessments and forecast models.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills with the ability to foster solid working relationships across all levels within the organization.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with demonstrated ability to plan proactively, prioritize effectively, set goals, facilitate meetings, and execute initiatives.
Salary Range: $250-300K annual salary (this reflects our reasonable and good faith estimate of what will be paid at the time of posting). Competitive benefits package included.
