About Automatinator

Automatinator is a software and AI company building digital products, including Daynite, a health and fitness app, and Skoowad, a business management platform.

We're looking for a creative Social Media Video Editor Intern to help produce engaging short-form content for our brands.

What You'll Do

• Edit videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms.
• Transform raw footage into polished, engaging content.
• Add captions, music, sound effects, transitions, animations, and graphics.
• Collaborate with presenters and marketing team members.
• Help manage social media accounts, schedule posts, and organize content calendars.
• Experiment with trending formats, storytelling techniques, and AI editing tools.
• Maintain consistent branding and improve content based on performance.

What We're Looking For

• Experience with CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar editing tools.
• Understanding of short-form video trends, pacing, hooks, and storytelling.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and independence.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Interest in marketing, social media, technology, or fitness.

Professional editing experience is not required, but a portfolio demonstrating your editing skills is important.

Internship Details

• Duration: 4–6 months.
• Location: Remote-first. Helsinki-based applicants are especially welcome.
• Schedule: Flexible around academic commitments.
• Compensation: Unpaid, intended for students seeking academic credits, subject to university approval and applicable rules.
• Experience: Practical involvement in real marketing campaigns, with guidance and opportunities to develop your editing portfolio.
