Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly analytical Senior Paraplanner to serve as a key technical engine of our wealth management practice. This is a fully remote role focused on building complex cash flow models in eMoney, running multi-year tax projections in Holistiplan, and preparing polished, client-ready deliverables. Candidates must be US-based and physically located in Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Texas, or Ohio.
In this role, you will work in close coordination with the Lead Advisor to turn complex client financial data into clear, actionable recommendations. You will assist with case design, plan preparation, and client data gathering to ensure an efficient, high-touch planning experience.
Core Responsibilities
- eMoney Cash Flow & Scenario Modeling: Build, stress-test, and update comprehensive financial plans and interactive cash flow illustrations using eMoney’s advanced tools and Decision Center.
- Holistiplan Tax Analysis & Modeling: Review client Form 1040s and supporting schedules through Holistiplan to evaluate marginal and effective tax brackets, model multi-year Roth conversion strategies, and highlight planning opportunities.
- Deliverable & Report Preparation: Synthesize balance sheets, cash flow statements, retirement projections, and tax reports into executive-level summary decks and analyses for client reviews.
- Meeting Support & Follow-Up: Help prepare presentation materials for client meetings, document discussion notes and recommendations, and coordinate post-meeting implementation workflows.
- Information & Document Gathering: Assist in collecting, organizing, and verifying client financial statements, tax returns, and legal documents to maintain data integrity across planning and CRM software.
- Risk Management & Estate Illustrations: Review existing insurance policies (life, disability, LTC) to evaluate liquidity and survivor needs, and outline estate distribution flows.
- Case Brainstorming & Strategy: Collaborate directly with the Lead Advisor to explore scenario alternatives and evaluate financial planning techniques prior to final presentations.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- Location: Must be US-based and physically located and authorized to work in Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Texas, or Ohio.
- Experience: 3+ years of dedicated financial planning or paraplanning experience within an RIA or wealth management firm.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced, hands-on experience utilizing eMoney (cash-flow modeling and Decision Center) and Holistiplan (tax scenario analysis and report generation) is required.
- Tax Understanding: Solid grasp of individual income taxation, Form 1040 structures, deductions, capital gains, and bracket mechanics.
- Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex financial statements, investment portfolios, tax returns, and spreadsheets.
- Tech Stack Fluency: Deep hands-on proficiency with eMoney and Holistiplan, alongside routine use of cloud-based CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Wealthbox), secure document vaults, and Microsoft Office / Excel.
- Professional Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the organization and self-discipline required to manage deadlines in a remote setting.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with complex estate planning structures, business entity cash flows, and executive compensation.
- (Note: A CFP® or ChFC® designation is not required but is appreciated. We value proven analytical competency, execution, and software fluency.)
