About the Role

DevX House is seeking a creative and detail-oriented VFX Intern to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This internship is designed for an enthusiastic individual looking to apply their visual effects skills, collaborate on dynamic projects, and gain hands-on experience in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Asset Creation & Integration: Assist in creating, compositing, and rendering visual effects elements for digital media and active development projects.

Pipeline Collaboration: Work closely with the design, development, and animation teams to ensure visual effects align with project goals and technical specifications.

Feedback & Iteration: Receive constructive feedback from senior team members and refine assets to meet quality standards.

Optimization: Help optimize visual effects assets for performance across target platforms and formats.

Troubleshooting: Assist in diagnosing and resolving visual or technical bugs within the visual effects pipeline.

Qualifications & Skills

Foundational Knowledge: Basic understanding of 3D/2D animation, compositing, particle systems, and visual effects software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, premium adobe, audio responsive visual making Softwares like Beatdrop, Nestdrop, Milkdrop, OBS Studio, Blender, or similar tools).

Creative Eye: Strong sense of timing, proportion, spatial awareness, color theory, and visual storytelling.

Technical Curiosity: Eagerness to learn new software, workflows, and industry-standard tools.

Communication: Clear communication skills and the ability to accept and implement feedback effectively in a remote team setting.

Portfolio: A digital portfolio or demo reel showcasing relevant coursework, personal projects, or previous work.
