🎨 VOLUNTEER ROLE: GRAPHIC DESIGNER

What You’ll Do

• Create engaging graphics for Refeir’s social media platforms and digital campaigns.

• Design promotional flyers, announcements, campaign materials and community content.

• Develop visuals for Refeir’s products, features, events and initiatives.

• Help translate ideas and concepts into simple, clear and visually appealing designs.

• Create designs for LinkedIn, X, Instagram, WhatsApp and other digital platforms.

• Work with the content and marketing team to develop visual stories that communicate Refeir’s message.

• Contribute ideas to strengthen and evolve Refeir’s visual identity.

• Experiment with different creative approaches while maintaining consistency with the Refeir brand.

• Design graphics that feel modern, African, authentic and human — not generic.

👤 YOU'RE A GOOD FIT IF YOU:

• Have experience creating social media graphics, flyers, brand materials or digital designs.

• Are comfortable using tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma or similar tools.

• Understand basic principles of typography, colour, composition and visual hierarchy.

• Can turn simple ideas into compelling visual content.

• Have an eye for clean, modern and engaging designs.

• Understand social-media-first design and what makes people stop scrolling.

• Are creative, curious and willing to experiment.

• Can receive feedback and make improvements without taking it personally.

• Can communicate well and meet agreed deadlines.

• Have a portfolio, Behance/Dribbble profile, social media page or examples of your work.
