At Counsellia, we believe that mental health support and emotional well-being education should be accessible, stigma-free, and engaging for youth and young adults. We are building a digital-first ecosystem that provides free and subsidized confidential counseling infrastructure and psychoeducational resources.

We are expanding our remote creative media team and looking for a passionate, forward-thinking Volunteer Graphic Designer & Infographer who leverages modern artificial intelligence tools to accelerate workflows and elevate visual storytelling.

• AI-Assisted Design & Asset Generation: Utilize AI design tools alongside traditional software to efficiently produce high-impact social media carousels, post graphics, campaign banners, and video thumbnails.
• Design Educational Infographics: Transform psychological research, statistics, and mental health tips into clear, digestible, and shareable infographics aligned with Counsellia’s visual identity.
• Collaborate on Content Campaigns: Work closely with our content writers and outreach leads to visualize monthly awareness themes.
• Maintain Visual Consistency: Ensure all creative outputs meet professional design standards, uphold user privacy standards, and maintain strict brand cohesion.

• Proven experience in graphic design, visual communication, or information design (portfolio required).
• Demonstrated proficiency in using AI tools for design to produce rapid, high-quality concepts.
• A strong grasp of typography, color theory, layout hierarchy, and data visualization.
• Deep empathy for youth mental health advocacy and a strong alignment with Counsellia’s core mission.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to meet collaborative deadlines in a remote volunteer environment.

• Real-World Impact: Use your design skills to destigmatize mental health and provide actionable coping resources to young people who need them most.
• Professional Reference & Recommendation: Upon completing 3 months of dedicated service, successful volunteers receive a formal letter of recommendation and reference to support their career growth.
• Collaborative Portfolio Building: Work alongside a dedicated, mission-driven team of remote creators, counselors, and community advocates while building high-visibility campaign pieces.
