What We Need
Our new project “Emotional Support Program for Primary and Secondary School Teachers and Students in Tai Po,” provide trauma-informed emotional and psychological support and training to students, teachers, school social workers and counsellors who may be affected by trauma, grief or emotional distress due to the Tai Po Fire Incident. The project plans to collaborate with a total of 10 primary and secondary schools in the Tai Po district. Through staff training, group therapy, and individual counselling, the programme seeks to help schools establish a trauma-informed campus support model and strengthen the psychological resilience of both teachers and students. The program is free of charge as it is fully sponsored by the American Club Foundation (ACF) .

What We Do
ReSource The Counselling Centre was established almost 50 years ago as a registered charitable organisation offering multi-lingual professional counselling service for people residing in Hong Kong. We offer confidential and professional mental health services such as counselling to individuals, couples, and families, as well as support clients who are in crisis or those with more severe mental illnesses. ReSource aims to empower clients in dealing with their problems and developing their potential. A sliding fee scale provides affordable counselling to all clients.
What We Need
- Join us for a briefing to learn more about the project details
- Work with the project team to set strategies of recruiting school participants in our free mental health school support service
- Reaching out to schools social worker / counselling service / SECO team by phone calls
