The VP External is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with external partners, including event venues, keynote speakers, and sponsors. They will conduct outreach, manage professional email correspondence, coordinate with relevant contacts to confirm external arrangements, and maintain an organized database of contacts that records both professional information and personal details. The VP External serves as FYC’s primary point of contact for external stakeholders and clubs.
Time Commitment
8-12 hours/week (may increase leading up to events)
Term of Employment
November 2026 – March 2027
Main Responsibilities
- Connect with other groups/faculties for collaborations
- Cultivate relationships with corporate/community sponsors
- Communicate effectively with the AMS
- Contact various sponsors for FYC events and funding
- Manage professional email correspondence, outreach, follow-ups, and thank-you messages.

- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong verbal and writing skills
- Experience in team environment
- Organization and record-keeping skills
- Willingness to take initiative
