Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Sales Manager to drive new business acquisition, expand our warehousing and fulfillment customer base, and generate profitable growth across warehouse service lines.
This role is ideal for a high-performing sales professional with an established network and experience in logistics, warehousing, distribution, retail, CPG, or e-commerce.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth & Customer Acquisition
- Identify, pursue, and secure new warehousing clients across industries including e-commerce, retail, food-grade, industrial, automotive, and CPG.
- Develop and grow a strong customer portfolio requiring pallet storage, pick/pack, FBA prep, cross-docking, rework, and value-added warehouse services.
- Conduct on-site or virtual facility tours and present customized warehousing solutions.
- Develop and present tailored pricing proposals covering pallet storage, inbound/outbound handling, fulfillment fees, and service-level agreements.
- Lead contract negotiations and close multi-month and multi-year warehousing agreements.
- Build and maintain a consistent sales pipeline and develop long-term customer relationships.
Market Strategy & Business Development
- Monitor warehouse market trends, customer demand, competitive pricing, and capacity changes.
- Develop sales strategies targeting key industries such as automotive parts, food-grade products, consumer goods, and e-commerce fulfillment.
- Analyze customer forecasts and requirements to identify opportunities for warehouse capacity utilization and revenue growth.
Internal Collaboration & Account Launch
- Work closely with Warehouse Operations, Customer Success, Billing, and IT teams to ensure smooth onboarding and implementation of new accounts.
- Communicate customer requirements, SLAs, special handling instructions, and operational needs clearly to warehouse leadership.
- Ensure accurate pricing, contract documentation, and scope-of-work handoffs for new accounts.
- Maintain detailed activity records, pipeline reports, and sales forecasts in the CRM.
- Travel as needed for customer meetings, facility tours, trade shows, networking events, and contract negotiations, approximately 10–25%.
Requirements
- 4–6+ years of sales or business development experience in warehousing, 3PL, fulfillment, or logistics.
- Proven experience selling pallet storage, distribution, fulfillment, or value-added warehouse services.
- Established network of potential warehouse customers and brokers is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build a sales pipeline from the ground up and close long-term contracts.
- Experience conducting facility tours and presenting warehouse capabilities to prospective customers.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, WMS systems, pricing structures, and capacity planning.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into practical operational solutions.
- Strong financial and pricing knowledge, including warehouse costs and margins.
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
- Strong business development and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with operations, billing, customer success, and leadership teams.
