  • Participate in usability reviews or testing as needed and incorporate findings into design refinements.

Collaboration and Production

  • Partner with the Creative Director throughout the creative process to ensure web design aligns with campaign strategy, brand standards and creative direction.
  • Collaborate with the web developer to ensure design feasibility, quality and fidelity throughout implementation.
  • Collaborate with content strategists to ensure content and design work seamlessly together.
  • Participate in project discovery, creative brief development, design reviews and stakeholder presentations.
  • Communicate the rationale behind design decisions and respond constructively to feedback from team members and client partners.
  • Manage multiple design assignments and deliver high-quality work within established project timelines and priorities.
  • Maintain organized, accurate and production-ready design files, components and assets.

Accessibility and Web Design Standards

  • Design digital solutions that meet WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design best practices.
  • Apply established usability, responsive design, SEO, performance and conversion considerations to design execution.
  • Support the evolution of web design patterns, component libraries and design standards in partnership with the Creative Director and web developer.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

ASU has torn down walls between disciplines and encouraged collaboration among diverse units. ASU has altered the trajectory of the university and reevaluated the role that universities play in society, in the economy and in education at all levels. It has changed the relationship between ASU and the State of Arizona.
