Web Specialist

Role Description The Web Specialist at Ultra Academia will manage and optimize the organization’s online presence, ensuring that web properties are user-friendly, visually consistent, and technically sound. This part-time, remote role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to update website content, implement design improvements, and maintain site performance. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring site analytics, identifying opportunities to improve user experience and engagement, and executing front-end updates using web technologies and CSS. The Web Specialist will also troubleshoot basic technical issues, support the rollout of new web features, and ensure that all web assets align with Ultra Academia’s brand standards and accessibility requirements.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Web Design and user experience principles.
• Proficiency in Front-End Development and Web Development for implementing and maintaining site features.
• Experience with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for layout, styling, and responsive design.
• Ability to use Web Analytics tools to track performance and inform optimization decisions.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to work independently in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) and basic SEO practices is beneficial.
• Effective communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant coursework, certifications, or practical experience in web design, development, or digital media is preferred.
