Role Description:

Globes Consultants is seeking a Web3 Trading and Portfolio Strategist for a full-time remote position based in Dubai, UAE. This role will focus on cryptocurrency market research, digital asset trading strategies, portfolio analysis, and investment risk management. The strategist will evaluate market opportunities, develop portfolio optimization recommendations, assess emerging blockchain ecosystems, and translate complex financial data into actionable insights. The position combines market intelligence, strategic analysis, and digital asset expertise to support informed investment decisions and the development of Web3-focused business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze cryptocurrency markets, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins, DeFi tokens, and emerging digital assets.
• Develop and evaluate trading strategies based on market conditions, liquidity, volatility, and risk-adjusted return objectives.
• Monitor digital asset portfolios, capital allocation, asset exposure, drawdowns, and overall performance.
• Conduct fundamental, technical, quantitative, and on-chain research to identify potential trading opportunities.
• Evaluate market structure, trading volumes, funding rates, open interest, derivatives activity, and liquidity conditions.
• Research blockchain networks, decentralized finance protocols, Layer 1 and Layer 2 ecosystems, and emerging Web3 projects.
• Support portfolio construction, diversification, rebalancing, and capital allocation decisions.
• Develop financial models, trading dashboards, market trackers, and portfolio performance reports.
• Assess tokenomics, project fundamentals, governance structures, protocol adoption, and competitive positioning.
• Monitor institutional investment activity, capital flows, macroeconomic trends, and market sentiment.
• Evaluate hedging strategies and risk controls to manage volatility and downside exposure.
• Conduct scenario analysis and stress testing to assess portfolio resilience during changing market conditions.
• Use blockchain analytics tools to evaluate on-chain transactions, wallet movements, and decentralized protocol activity.
• Prepare market intelligence reports, trading recommendations, and portfolio strategy presentations.
• Identify potential Web3 investment opportunities and evaluate their commercial viability and strategic relevance.
• Monitor UAE digital asset regulations and international developments affecting cryptocurrency markets.
• Collaborate with consulting, research, financial, and technology professionals to develop data-driven strategic recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• Experience in cryptocurrency trading, investment research, portfolio management, financial analysis, or digital asset strategy.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, decentralized finance, and Web3 ecosystems.
• Knowledge of trading strategies, portfolio construction, asset allocation, and investment risk management.
• Ability to evaluate market structure, liquidity, volatility, and digital asset price movements.
• Familiarity with spot and derivatives markets, hedging techniques, and quantitative trading concepts.
• Experience using platforms such as TradingView, Dune, DefiLlama, Nansen, Glassnode, or comparable analytics tools.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; Python or SQL experience is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, research, and strategic problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate complex financial data into clear investment recommendations.
• Understanding of UAE digital asset markets and relevant regulatory developments is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
• Professional English proficiency; additional languages are an advantage.

Compensation:

This position offers an estimated salary range of AED 420,000–600,000 per year, depending on trading experience, portfolio strategy expertise, quantitative capabilities, and digital asset market knowledge.
