Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As Wholesale Footwear Manager EMEA, you will be responsible for driving sustainable commercial growth across the region while protecting the premium positioning and long-term equity of ARC’TERYX. You will shape and execute the regional wholesale strategy, developing strategic partnerships with leading outdoor specialty, mountain, trail running and premium sporting goods retailers. You will have the opportunity to build and strengthen a high-performing regional sales organization while creating new structures, processes and commercial opportunities across diverse EMEA markets. Working across countries, channels and cultures, you will navigate the complexity of balancing ambitious growth objectives with disciplined distribution and exceptional brand presentation. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in growing the ARC’TERYX footwear business and strengthening our credibility within the outdoor community through authentic retail partnerships, technical expertise and meaningful consumer experiences.
This role can be hired remote. Business operations occur on Central European Time (CET/CEST) and extensive travel throughout EMEA is required.

The EMEA Wholesale team is responsible for building strong, long-term partnerships with our retail and distribution network while delivering sustainable commercial growth across the region. Working collaboratively across markets, functions and channels, the team is focused on strengthening our premium distribution, elevating the consumer experience and ensuring ARC’TERYX products are represented with authenticity and excellence.

Developing and executing the EMEA wholesale footwear strategy in alignment with global business objectives and regional market opportunities
Building and strengthening long-term partnerships with leading outdoor specialty retailers, mountain shops, trail running specialists, premium sporting goods retailers and selected omnichannel partners
Leading and developing regional sales representatives, Key Account Managers, Area Sales Managers, Technical Representatives and agencies to deliver a high-performance, partnership-led sales culture
Managing commercial planning across markets and strategic accounts, including annual agreements, Joint Business Plans, seasonal pre-orders, in-season replenishment and sell-through performance
Collaborating cross-functionally and across international markets to optimize assortments, forecasting, inventory productivity, merchandising standards and future collection strategies

Elevating ARC’TERYX footwear visibility and credibility within the outdoor community through strategic retail initiatives, athlete engagement, product testing, field clinics and authentic consumer experiences
Building a high-performance regional sales culture focused on consultative selling, collaboration, coaching and long-term partnership
Strengthening distribution and channel discipline to ensure every commercial decision contributes to the long-term value of the brand
Are you our next Wholesale Footwear Manager EMEA?
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management or a related field
You bring 8–10+ years of international sales experience, ideally within premium outdoor, technical footwear or a related premium sporting goods environment
You have a proven track record managing wholesale business across multiple EMEA markets
You have a strong network within the European outdoor footwear and specialty retail community
You have experience negotiating complex international commercial agreements and developing long-term strategic customer partnerships
You have demonstrated success in delivering profitable growth while protecting premium brand positioning and disciplined distribution
You have strong commercial, analytical and strategic planning capabilities, with the ability to translate market opportunities into actionable business plans
You are an experienced people leader and coach, capable of inspiring sales teams, agencies and cross-functional partners toward ambitious objectives
You are comfortable working across multiple countries, cultures and markets, balancing regional consistency with local market needs
You have experience using Salesforce, SAP, Power BI, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, CRM platforms and/or retail analytics tools
You are fluent in English, with German highly desirable; French, Italian or Spanish would be advantageous
You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity and a fast-evolving business environment
You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration while working across international markets

This role requires approximately 50-70% international travel throughout EMEA, with a focus on Europe, as well as approximately four annual journeys to Vancouver for key company moments such as Kick Off and Leadership Summit. You will regularly engage with specialty retailers, distributors, outdoor events, athlete activations, mountain festivals and international trade shows, while participating in product testing, field clinics and outdoor experiences to maintain deep product and consumer credibility.
