The role focuses on functional development throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirement breakdown and software design to implementation, testing, and verification. The position typically requires 𝟭𝟬+ 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 of relevant experience. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 ✔ Break down requirements and translate them into software solutions ✔ Perform software design, documentation, implementation, testing and verification ✔ Specialize in a technical domain and develop features within that area ✔ Lead system engineering activities within a technical team ✔ Take an active role in technical deliveries and integrate contributions from others ✔ Secure quality and readiness before release ✔ Contribute to early development phases and technical roadmaps ✔ Network across the organization and influence work across different sites ✔ Develop and share technical competence ✔ Contribute to business development and continuous improvement ✔ Drive automation of development processes and activities 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 Experience in one or more of the following areas is relevant: 🔹 Vehicle 🔹 HMI 🔹 Combustion 🔹 Engine After-treatment 🔹 Electro-mobility 🔹 Powertrain Control 🔹 Control Theory 🔹 Mechatronics 🔹 Diagnostics 𝗖𝗜/𝗖𝗗 & 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 Strong experience with: ✔ CI/CD pipelines ✔ Continuous improvement of development processes ✔ Automation of development and process steps ✔ Improving software development workflows and pipelines 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 At Expert level, the engineer is expected to be a recognized expert in Embedded Software Applications, typically supported by advanced education and extensive professional experience.
