NSOL-HIGH is seeking an Agentic AI Research Engineer to contribute to advanced research and development in agentic artificial intelligence, multi-agent systems, and embodied intelligence.
This role focuses on the design and implementation of intelligent agentic architectures that enable humanoid robots to autonomously plan, coordinate, and execute complex tasks in industrial environments. The position is research-driven, with an emphasis on connecting high-level reasoning, multimodal perception, and learned robotic capabilities through scalable agentic systems.
Responsibiliies
- Research and develop agentic AI architectures for embodied intelligence and multi-robot orchestration
- Design hierarchical planning systems that translate high-level objectives into executable robotic tasks and actions
- Integrate LLMs, VLMs, world models, and learned robot policies into agentic workflows
- Research multi-agent coordination, dynamic task allocation, and autonomous replanning
- Develop memory, world-state representations, and feedback-driven reasoning mechanisms
- Design and evaluate agentic systems in simulated and real-world robotic environments
- Contribute to experimental design, internal research documentation, and technical reports
Requirements
- University degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, robotics, or a related field
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Experience implementing AI/ML systems using PyTorch or comparable frameworks
- Solid foundation in machine learning, LLMs, AI agents, or autonomous planning
- Experience or strong interest in multi-agent systems, embodied AI, or agentic architectures
- Experience working in a Linux-based development environment
- Ability to work independently in a research-oriented environment
- Professional working proficiency in English
Preferred Quialifications
- Experience with LLM-based agents, tool use, and agent orchestration frameworks
- Knowledge of hierarchical task planning, reinforcement learning, or world models
- Familiarity with robotics, VLA models, or embodied intelligence
- Experience with multi-agent coordination or autonomous decision-making systems
- Research experience demonstrated through projects, publications, or open-source contributions
- Japanese language skills
