製造業向けのAI外観検査を開発しています。FORESIGHT STEREO®は照度差ステレオで部品表面を3Dで撮影し、通常の2D画像では見えにくい傷・打痕・微細な凹凸をとらえます。E3 ENGINE®は良品だけで学習するAIで異常を検知します。製品は撮影装置TR-55／TR-100／TR-300、FORESIGHT STEREO Viewer、E3 Anomaly Synthetic Generatorです。

2011年設立。慶應藤沢イノベーションビレッジ（神奈川県藤沢市）を拠点とする少人数のチームで、代表取締役社長 佐藤友美（工学博士）、取締役CTO 崔成熏（工学博士）と直接一緒に仕事をします。

Help manufacturers catch the defects that are hardest to see.

What you will do

• Develop and improve the anomaly detection models in E3 ENGINE®
• Work on synthetic defect data generation (E3 Anomaly Synthetic Generator)
• Evaluate models on real customer samples and support PoC projects
• Follow and reproduce recent anomaly detection research, and bring it into our products

Requirements

• Master's degree or higher in a related field (computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics, etc.)
• Development experience in Python, C++ and C#
• Experience building deep learning models for images with PyTorch
• Ability to read research papers and implement them

Nice to have

• Industrial anomaly detection or visual inspection
• Photometric stereo or 3D surface data
• Model optimization for deployment (ONNX, TensorRT)

About TOMOMI RESEARCH, INC.

We build AI visual inspection for manufacturing. FORESIGHT STEREO® uses photometric stereo to capture the 3D surface of a part, revealing scratches, dents and fine unevenness that ordinary 2D images miss. E3 ENGINE® then detects anomalies with AI trained on good products. Our products include the TR-55, TR-100 and TR-300 imaging systems, FORESIGHT STEREO Viewer and E3 Anomaly Synthetic Generator.

Founded in 2011, we are a small team based at Keio Fujisawa Innovation Village in Fujisawa, Kanagawa. You will work directly with our CEO, Dr. Tomomi Sato, and our CTO, Dr. Seong-Hun Choe.

Employment details

• Employment type: Full-time (3-month probation on the same terms)
• Location: Keio Fujisawa Innovation Village (SFC IV), 4489-105 Endo, Fujisawa, Kanagawa 252-0816, Japan. On-site.
• Working hours: 9:00–18:00 (60-minute break). Overtime is paid in full.
• Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, year-end and summer holidays, paid annual leave
• Salary: JPY 6.5M–9.5M per year, based on experience
• Insurance: health insurance, employees' pension, employment insurance and workers' accident insurance
• Language: business-level Japanese is required (around JLPT N1)
