Job Summary

The Associate Manager, Foodservice Marketing will support the development and execution of branded marketing programs across foodservice channels. Reporting to a Senior Manager, this role helps translate established brand and business strategies into actionable marketing activities that support operator needs, drive product adoption, and enable sales growth.

Under the direction of the Senior Manager, the Associate Manager will coordinate and execute assigned campaign components, operator solutions, and customer-facing programs, including sales tools, promotions, and digital content. This role tracks assigned project spending and coordinates agency deliverables, partnering with Sales, Culinary, R&D, and Operations to help ensure programs are relevant, practical, and easy for operators to execute.

Key Responsibilities

Foodservice Brand & Campaign Execution

  • Support the development and execution of branded foodservice marketing campaigns for prepared foods, including seasonal programs, operator solutions, and product launches, under the direction of the Senior Manager.
  • Apply established brand direction and operator insights to assigned marketing materials and activities that address ease of preparation, menu versatility, labor savings, and profitability.
  • Coordinate assigned marketing activities across key foodservice channels (QSR, Convenience, K‑12, Healthcare, and Commercial), following agreed plans and priorities.
  • Review marketing materials for alignment with brand standards and operator needs, incorporating feedback and obtaining required approvals before release.

Operator Solutions & Customer Marketing

  • Coordinate development of assigned operator-focused materials and solutions, including selling tools, menu concepts, merchandising, equipment program materials, and promotional materials.
  • Support Sales and Category teams in developing customer-specific materials and programs that support sell-in, menu placement, and volume growth.
  • Prepare materials and coordinate logistics for customer presentations, sales meetings, and foodservice trade shows; participate as needed.
  • Coordinate input from Culinary, R&D, and Operations to support the delivery of operator-ready solutions, escalating questions and barriers to the Senior Manager.

Agency & Project Management

  • Coordinate day-to-day agency activities for assigned deliverables, including feedback, timelines, and project status updates.
  • Draft agency briefs using agreed campaign objectives for Senior Manager review, and track deliverables against approved timelines and budgets.
  • Maintain project schedules and coordinate multiple assigned deliverables, flagging scope changes, competing priorities, and timing risks to the Senior Manager.
  • Track spending and invoices against approved project budgets, flag variances, and obtain approval for changes to scope or spending.

Insights, Measurement & Optimization

  • Compile market data, operator insights, and performance metrics to support campaign execution and identify potential improvements for Senior Manager review.
  • Work with insights and analytics teams to gather program results and summarize learnings and recommendations.
  • Support test-and-learn activities by coordinating execution, tracking results, and documenting opportunities to improve marketing ROI.

Collaboration & Team Support

  • Coordinate with Brand, Digital, Shopper, and Sales teams to keep assigned deliverables aligned with integrated marketing plans.
  • Contribute to team projects, share learnings, and seek feedback to build foodservice marketing capabilities.
  • Respond to unplanned customer or sales requests, aligning priorities and timing with the Senior Manager in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field required.

Experience

  • 2 years of marketing or related experience, preferably within foodservice, consumer packaged goods, or a related industry.
