Mirai Trading LLC, a licensed used vehicle exporter based in Noda, Chiba, Japan, is hiring an experienced automotive dent repair and paint technician from the Philippines to join our team in Japan. This is a full relocation role — we sponsor a company work visa for the right candidate.

What You’ll Do

• Panel beating, dent repair (including paintless dent repair where applicable), and full respray work on used vehicles being prepared for export
• Assess vehicle body condition and provide repair recommendations before export documentation
• Work with both Japanese domestic market vehicles and kei-class vehicles
• Maintain consistent quality standards across export-bound inventory
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Must satisfy BOTH of the following, or qualify for the exemption below:
• Pass the Automobile Repair and Maintenance Field Specified Skilled Worker (i) Test, OR hold Level 3 of the Automotive Mechanic Skills Certification Test (Japan’s national certification)
• Pass the Japan Foundation Test for Basic Japanese (JFT-Basic), or JLPT N4 or higher
  

Exemption: candidates who have satisfactorily completed Technical Intern Training (ii) in a related automotive job category are exempt from both tests above.

• Demonstrated skill with panel beating, filler work, color matching, and clear coat application
• Experience with both Japanese and non-Japanese vehicle makes is a plus
• Own tools/portfolio of past work (photos welcome with application)
• Willingness to relocate to Noda, Chiba, Japan under SSW Type 1 status
• Valid passport, clean background, physically able to perform standing/manual labor work
