Business Analyst – (Relocation to the UAE)

About the Role

This role sits under the umbrella of the Sacoor Brothers business. You’ll analyse potential new projects and investments for the group: researching the market, building the numbers and showing whether each one will be profitable. You’ll work closely with our leadership team in Dubai and help them decide which opportunities are worth pursuing.

Candidates from Portugal are very welcome. We offer relocation support to the UAE, and we’ll be interviewing face to face at our Lisbon office from 2 to 6 November.

What You’ll Do

• Carry out market research on new markets, industries and business opportunities
• Analyse the profitability of potential projects: costs, revenue, margins, payback and ROI
• Build financial models, forecasts and business cases
• Research competitors, market size, trends and customer demand
• Pull and analyse data from our systems, and build clear dashboards and reports
• Prepare presentations and recommendations for senior management
• Follow projects from idea to decision, and track results after launch
• Use AI tools to research faster, and always check the results

Who You Are

• 1–2 years in consulting, Big 4, strategy, corporate finance, investment or commercial analysis
• A degree in business, economics, finance, engineering or information systems
• Strong financial modelling skills, and comfortable with P&L, cash flow and ROI
• Experience in market research and feasibility studies
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, financial models) and strong PowerPoint
• Confident with business systems such as ERP (SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics)
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau. SQL or Python is a big plus.
• Curious, commercial and quick to learn a new industry from scratch
• Able to explain complex things simply
• Fluent English. Portuguese is a big plus.
• Ready to relocate to the UAE
