Our client, an established international holding group operating across trading, logistics, and investment sectors, is seeking a Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Headquartered in Cyprus with cross-border operations, the group is establishing this newly created role to consolidate global financial governance, treasury, and investment management.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive group-wide financial modeling, dynamic budgeting, capital allocation, and long-term strategic planning.

  • Oversee multi-currency cash flow, working capital, and group liquidity management.

  • Deliver accurate consolidated financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) while ensuring regulatory and tax compliance across EU and offshore jurisdictions.

  • Serve as the primary liaison with global banking partners, external auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel.

  • Direct investment portfolio performance, conduct financial due diligence, structure M&A transactions, and evaluate strategic business opportunities for the Owner.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of proven financial leadership (CFO, Finance Director, or VP of Finance) within international, multi-jurisdictional holdings.

  • Demonstrated track record in cross-border corporate structuring, international tax optimization, and multi-entity financial consolidation.

  • Ability to maintain a 50/50 strategic balance between robust corporate financial controls and active investment/M&A deal execution.

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.

  • Specialist with a European Higher Education degree or a European-accredited MBA or CMA is required.

  • High degree of autonomy, proactivity, and ownership—capable of designing structured financial frameworks from the ground up.

  • Excellent negotiation acumen, strategic clarity, and a peer-to-peer, partner-oriented communication style.

  • English: Professional fluency (both written and spoken) is essential.

  • Russian: Native or fully fluent proficiency is required.

Nice to have:

  • Certifications: Internationally recognized designations (ACCA, CFA, CPA, or CAP) are considered a distinct advantage.

  • Greek language: Working knowledge is a welcome advantage.

What We offer:

  • Permanent, full-time position.

  • Competitive commission structure with attractive performance-based bonuses.

  • Full legal employment contract based in Limassol, Cyprus.

  • A flexible 2-month relocation window (remote onboarding permitted prior to move).
