- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience and Approved post graduate nursing qualifications in a field relevant to the specialty field or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate by the organisation.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical expertise in chronic pain and end-of-life care, including comprehensive assessment, complex symptom management, care planning and coordination of person-centred care across the multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated clinical leadership, providing expert consultation, mentoring, education and support to nurses and multidisciplinary clinicians to build capability and promote high-quality pain and end-of-life care.
- Demonstrated ability to use current evidence, clinical data and research to identify opportunities for improvement, lead quality initiatives and evaluate outcomes in chronic pain and end-of-life care.
- Demonstrated ability to build effective partnerships with patients, families, carers and healthcare professionals, contribute to strategic service development, advocate for patient-centred care and promote safe, equitable and compassionate practice.
