We are looking for different types of CNC operators depending on client needs, including but not limited to: CNC Milling Operators – operating vertical and horizontal mills for precision parts CNC Lathe Operators – turning, threading, and facing components on CNC lathes CNC Router Operators – working on wood, plastic, or composite materials CNC Grinding Operators – performing precision grinding for metal components CNC Laser / Plasma / Waterjet Operators – cutting and shaping metal or composite materials Multi-Axis CNC Operators – programming and operating 3-, 4-, or 5-axis machines Swiss-type CNC Lathe Operators – for small precision components Successful applicants will be matched to clients depending on their experience and specific machine expertise. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines according to specifications Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD/CAM files, and work instructions Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machinery Measure and inspect finished components to ensure quality and tolerances Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised work area Collaborate with production teams to meet deadlines and production targets Requirements Proven experience operating one or more types of CNC machines Knowledge of machine setup, tooling, and part programming (CAM/CAD skills desirable) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Strong attention to detail and precision in work Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to relocate to the UK or Ireland for employment Language Requirement (Mandatory) As part of the visa and employment requirements: Candidates must hold a valid UKVI IELTS (Academic or General Training) A minimum score of 5.5 in each section (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking) is required Additional Information This application is for inclusion in a candidate pool only Shortlisted candidates will be contacted when suitable roles become available Visa sponsorship WILL be available depending on the employer and role Candidates may be matched to roles based on specific CNC machine experience and client requirements Department APPLICANT POOL Locations Northern Ireland Job Type International
