Compliance Director (Dubai based, relocation provided)

We are seeking an experienced senior compliance leader to join our growing digital assets business in Dubai. This is a regional leadership role with responsibility for supporting our continued growth while strengthening our compliance and regulatory framework across multiple jurisdictions.

The position is based in Dubai, and candidates currently based overseas will need to be open to relocation.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall direction and oversight of the compliance function, working closely with senior leadership on regulatory matters and providing practical advice as the business continues to expand. The role will oversee key areas including regulatory compliance, AML/KYC and licensing requirements, while maintaining relationships with regulators, law enforcement agencies and external advisers. The individual will also be responsible for ensuring appropriate compliance controls, reviews and assessments are in place, and for leading and developing the regional compliance team in response to evolving regulatory expectations.

Key Requirements

We are looking for an established compliance professional with significant experience in regulatory compliance within financial services, ideally gained within a complex and highly regulated environment. The successful candidate should bring strong experience engaging with regulators and handling regulatory matters, together with a proven track record of leading compliance teams. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to provide commercially minded compliance advice and operate effectively within a fast-paced environment where regulatory requirements continue to evolve.
