Position information Contract type: Full-time Working schedule: daytime hours (Monday to Friday), maximum 8 periods per day, 30 minutes per period Duration: one year contract Probationary period: 2 months Starting date: Beginning of October Class size: 30-40 students with the support of a Vietnamese English teacher in the class Monthly average teaching hours: 70-100 hours per month Salary: average monthly income from 30 million to 33 million Hourly pay rate: negotiable Work permit: Sponsor Location: Primary public schools in Da Nang Books and curriculum: Global Sucess/ I-learn Smart World/ Discovery/ Explore Training sessions: provided You'll play an important role in: Planning and conducting activities that provide students with opportunities to observe, question, and learn actively. Following curriculum guidelines and preparing lessons on power points Motivating strong students to speak English more fluently and weak students to learn English without fear. Administering, and grading tests and assignments in order to evaluate students' progress. Attending professional meetings and training organized by EIV or the school To succeed in the role, you: Possess a university degree and an ESL teaching certificate (TESOL/CELTA/TEFL 120 hours). For the work permit process, you are required to provide your notarized degree and teaching certificate at the Vietnamese Embassy. At least ONE year experience teaching at public schools or a LARGE class size Are teachers from native English-speaking countries or Europe, Russia Are familiar with planning lessons on power points Are passionate about teaching YOUNG LEARNERS Have a reference letter from your previous employer Have your own laptop PLEASE PREPARE A SHORT VIDEO (2-3 MINUTES) TO INTRODUCE ABOUT YOURSELF AND YOUR TEACHING STYLES.
