What does this team do?
The Deal Transformation and Post Merger Integrations team supports businesses as they go through mergers, separations or business performance improvement programmes. We help companies navigate through these periods of transition to make sure every transaction or performance programme runs seamlessly. We provide end-to-end advice, whether this be advising on the financials, technology or considering the impacts on their people and talent.
It's our job to help each company do well and come out stronger. We work innovatively and collaboratively to analyse how our clients work, so that we can deliver the best possible outcomes.
What skills and academic qualifications do I need?
You’ll need to have obtained or be studying towards a minimum 2:1 in any degree discipline and have graduated by September 2027 for the Autumn 2027 intake.
What kind of work will I do?
Your role will allow you to work across a range of sectors, with professionals from across the M&A business, as well as the rest of Deloitte. You’ll gain experience across our multiple teams, allowing you to develop in-depth insights into the whole deal life cycle, covering all sorts of different aspects from pre- to post-deal. You’ll gain experience through multiple lenses, including technology, commercials, operations, and financials.
You Will Have The Opportunity To Work In Both Of Our Core Capability Areas That Sit Within Deal Transformation & Post Merger Integration - Integrations & Separations And Value Creation Services
At Deloitte we recognise how important face-to-face interaction is for your development in a new role. We also understand that our people need flexibility, which is why we operate a hybrid system, with a combination of office and home working. If you’re in a client-facing role, you might be expected to attend client sites on certain days, while your meetings will be a mix of online and in-person events. Please note your final assessment and induction will also be in-person, to give you the opportunity to network and build relationships.
All our workspaces are accessible, however, if you require further flexibility due to a health condition or caring responsibilities, please discuss this with our team.
How will I develop?
During your first few weeks with the firm, you will receive training that has been designed to cover the core components of the work the team delivers for clients. Our ambition is to support our people to achieve their personal and professional goals by providing access to a wide range of quality learning materials and opportunities.
As a new member of the team, you are empowered to become part of a client project and begin understanding and solving complex problems. We will provide support and ongoing training to allow you to learn how to handle confidential information, deliver quality work, and help build and maintain relationships with key clients.
