A leading acute-care hospital in Fort Pierce, FL is seeking an experienced Director of Surgical Services to lead a high-volume surgical program within a 380-bed hospital.
This is a full-time, days position with no weekends, offering a competitive executive compensation package and relocation assistance for qualified candidates.

- Base Salary: $157,705 – $197,163
- 17.5% Director Bonus Potential with up to 150% upside

Surgical Services Scope
- 13 ORs + 2 Endoscopy Suites
- 30–35 cases per day
- Level II Trauma Center
- 3 da Vinci XI robots
- Approximately 120 FTEs
- 3 Managers reporting directly to the Director
- Reports directly to the Hospital COO

What You'll Lead
The Director will oversee the overall operations, staffing, quality, financial performance, and strategic development of Surgical Services.
Key areas include:
- Clinical quality, patient safety, and regulatory compliance
- Surgical volume, throughput, and operational efficiency
- Budget management and resource utilization
- Staff engagement, development, and retention
- Patient experience and service excellence
- Evidence-based practice and performance improvement
- Equipment, accreditation, and regulatory readiness
- Leadership development across the Surgical Services team
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Current RN license
- Recent Director-level Surgical Services experience
- Strong operational and people leadership experience
Preferred:
- Master's Degree
- Experience leading a large, multi-specialty surgical department
- Experience in a high-volume acute-care or trauma environment
- Robotics/advanced surgical technology experience
