This is a highly visible influence-based leadership role that brings together Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management teams to drive successful execution. You'll lead through collaboration, technical credibility, and sound decision-making, helping teams navigate complex technical and business challenges while maintaining focus on cost, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction.

To be considered for Division IPT Lead, here’s what you’ll typically bring with you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

  • Ten (10) or more years of aerospace, defense, or closely related industry experience.

  • Five (5) or more years supporting complex product development programs.

  • Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams through influence rather than direct authority.

  • Experience driving execution across engineering, manufacturing, operations, quality, and supply chain functions.

  • Strong understanding of systems development, production environments, and lifecycle program management.

  • Experience with earned value management (EVM), critical path analysis, forecasting, risk management, and change management principles.

  • Proven ability to make sound decisions and drive results in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.

  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

It’s preferred if you bring:

  • Advanced engineering degree.

  • Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

  • Experience supporting military aircraft or other highly regulated aerospace and defense programs.

  • Experience leading geographically distributed teams.

  • Strong business and financial acumen with a demonstrated ability to balance technical, operational, and commercial considerations.

As Division IPT Lead, you will:

  • Provide Integrated Product Team (IPT) leadership for development, production, and sustainment programs within the Military Aircraft Group.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver programs that meet technical, schedule, budget, quality, and customer commitments.

  • Drive alignment between Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management organizations.

  • Lead cross-functional resolution of complex technical, production, and field-performance challenges.

  • Ensure program risks, assumptions, and change activities are identified, assessed, and effectively managed throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Support successful New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts and seamless transitions into low-rate and full-rate production.

  • Apply strong program execution disciplines, including earned value management, critical path analysis, forecasting, and risk management.

  • Lead technical planning and performance activities, including CEAC development, variance analysis, and recovery planning when required.

  • Serve as the primary technical interface with customers and build trusted relationships through transparent communication and dependable execution.

  • Promote a "One Moog Team" culture focused on accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and shared success.

  • Influence technology, product, and business strategies by aligning current program execution with future customer and market needs.

How we care for you:
