About the Role
Join the sales team at an early-stage youth mental health company and help expand access to therapy for students across New York. You will build relationships with schools, guide them through a short sales process, and hand off new partnerships to the Success team.
What You'll Do
Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and cold outreach to tailored presentations, closing, and handoff.
Manage a high-volume portfolio of schools and build trust with counselors, principals, and district administrators.
Adapt your message to different school stakeholders and lead with empathy and relationships.
Spend mornings on school outreach and meetings, then manage Salesforce, follow-ups, and planning in the afternoons.
Meet school staff in person when possible and travel for school visits, district meetings, and events.
Share field insights with Growth, Success, Product, Marketing, and leadership as the sales approach develops.
What We're Looking For
One to four years of full-cycle B2B sales experience at an early-stage startup, including demonstrated success meeting or exceeding quota.
Experience building pipeline through outbound prospecting and cold calling, and closing relatively short sales cycles.
Strong multi-stakeholder sales, relationship-building, and organized pipeline management skills.
Comfort with Salesforce or a similar CRM, independent work, and ambiguity.
Genuine interest in youth mental health. Experience selling to K-12 schools, districts, or education-adjacent buyers is a plus.
Availability for a hybrid schedule in New York City and travel for in-person school meetings.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary is $90,000 to $100,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
Location
Hybrid role based in New York, New York, with three days per week in the office.
