Curriculum Overview We follow a systematic phonics and communicative language approach tailored for learners aged 3 to 8. • Oxford Phonics series for foundational literacy and pronunciation • Oxford curriculum for contextual vocabulary and sentence structure • KET/PET preparation materials for early exam readiness • Structured lessons with interactive activities to maintain engagement • Regular progress tracking and feedback loops for continuous improvement This curriculum balances phonics mastery with practical communication skills. Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated native English teacher to join our academic team. You will teach small groups of 8-15 students, collaborate with local teaching assistants, and report to the academic coordinator. Teaching hours average ~20 per week with additional office hours for planning and collaboration. Working Hours • 5 days per week (including weekdays and weekends) • Weekdays: 16:30 – 20:30 • Weekends: 09:00 – 18:15 • Breaks scheduled between 1-hour sessions Class Structure • Class size: 8 to 15 students • Lesson duration: 1 hour per session • Student age group: 3 to 8 years old • Teaching team per class: o Native English Teacher o Local Teaching Assistant o Support Staff Key Responsibilities • Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons following the designated Oxford curriculum • Foster a positive and interactive classroom environment for young learners • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback • Collaborate with local staff to align teaching methods with institutional goals • Participate in occasional school events, meetings, or teacher training sessions Requirements Requirements • Native English speaker (passport holder from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, or Ireland only) • Caucasian appearance (due to school preference) • Bachelor’s degree or higher (any discipline) • Minimum 2 years teaching experience in a language center, international school, or similar setting • Under 35 years old (to align with visa and work permit regulations) • Candidates already in China preferred; overseas applicants must provide clean criminal record and degree authentication • TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification (desirable) • Experience with phonics, ESL for young learners, or KET/PET preparation (desirable) Benefits Salary & Benefits • Salary: 18,000 – 22,000 RMB per month before tax (housing allowance included) • Overtime pay for additional teaching hours beyond ~20 per week • Vacation pay negotiable for summer and winter breaks • Flight reimbursement for candidates arriving from overseas • Legal work visa sponsorship (Z visa) • Opportunities for professional development • Note: Accommodation, meals, and utilities are not provided • Open until filled – early applications encouraged Attachments Shenzhen Training Center JD ...pdf View Download
