Field Operator (#963)

An international leading company with offices in the 6 continents and with 20 years experience on thousands of projects worldwide providing variable work force solutions and engineering services to the Power Generation and Oil & Gas industries. Field Operator Reporting to : Shift Charge Engineer Responsibilities: Monitors device operation and power production locally. Makes rounds, checking the condition of all operating machinery. Records operating data in logs, maintains records. Starts stops and operates device in accordance with site Operating Procedures and per the direction of the control room operator and Shift Supervisor. Helps maintaining power output to meet system demand without exceeding machinery’s design capacity. Helping out shift supervisor in carrying out Isolations/de-isolation as and when required. Escorts, observes and supervises performance of contractors to ensure compliance with Site Safety Procedures. Keeps site clear of all fire or other safety hazards. Education and/or Experience Diploma in associate engineering with 3-5 years related work experience at combined cycle power plant preferably having GE F Class Technology.  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
