Forward Deployed Strategist

About the Role

Join a team delivering AI-powered automation for complex enterprise workflows. You will own strategic customer relationships and lead deployments from initial pilot through production scale, partnering with customer executives and delivery teams to make lasting operational change.

What You'll Do

• Own enterprise customer relationships and commercial outcomes, including scoping, negotiating, and closing complex pilot engagements.

• Understand customer processes, align stakeholders, and define success metrics before deployment begins.

• Lead cross-functional delivery teams, including engineers, through pilots and production rollouts.

• Manage change, resolve blockers, and keep customer executives aligned in high-stakes environments.

• Identify expansion opportunities and grow accounts from initial deployments to broader adoption.

What We're Looking For

• Typically 3 to 7 years of experience across strategy consulting, enterprise deployment, enterprise sales, go-to-market, business operations, product management, or related customer-facing work.

• Experience owning enterprise relationships and commercial targets, such as pilots, expansions, renewals, or complex engagements.

• A record of leading end-to-end deployments, defining success measures, delivering measurable customer outcomes, and scaling solutions to production.

• Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to align operational teams and senior executives and drive organizational change.

• Excellent project delivery, commercial judgment, and comfort operating autonomously amid ambiguity.

• Technical fluency to understand AI-enabled automation and engage with engineers on implementation without needing to be an engineer.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $160,000 to $250,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site in San Francisco, California, or New York City, New York. Relocation is possible.
