About the Role
Join an early-stage industrial AI team building wearable products that help field technicians work with real-time assistance. You will own the product layer around the AI core, connecting smart glasses, cloud services, and companion applications.
What You'll Do
Build and ship an end-to-end product experience spanning smart glasses, backend services, and companion apps.
Develop cloud services for real-time video ingestion, APIs, and storage.
Own reliable, observable backend APIs and data systems used by devices and AI services.
Create mobile and desktop applications for setup, monitoring, and workflow configuration.
Establish safe deployment and release processes for software running on field hardware.
Set product architecture and engineering practices as the team grows.
Debug across frontend, backend, and device systems to keep product development moving.
What We're Looking For
Two to five years of post-graduate software engineering experience, ideally including early-stage startup work.
Experience building and shipping a product end to end, including backend APIs, data systems, and user-facing web or mobile clients.
Strong full-stack skills with technologies such as TypeScript, Python, React, React Native, Node.js, and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
Experience with real-time video, streaming, or low-latency systems; familiarity with WebRTC, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, and CI/CD is relevant.
Sound architectural judgment and experience building scalable systems from an early stage.
Mobile application experience and a strong sense of frontend usability are valued.
Experience integrating AI capabilities into shipped products or working with wearables, edge systems, or industrial applications is a plus.
