Founding Senior Engineer

About the Role

Join an early-stage, venture-backed AI company building software that helps consumer brands manage and optimize growth operations. As a senior, hands-on engineer, you will shape the product, technical architecture, and engineering culture while helping the team scale.

What You'll Do

• Build data infrastructure that tracks merchant lifecycle events and connects actions to outcomes.

• Develop agentic systems that assess growth operations, identify improvements, and execute them automatically.

• Own full-stack development of the growth engine, with a strong focus on backend systems and infrastructure.

• Build reliable integrations with commerce and marketing platforms, including Shopify, Meta, TikTok, and Klaviyo.

• Help establish engineering practices and mentor teammates while remaining actively involved in day-to-day development.

What We're Looking For

• Five to eight years of full-stack engineering experience, with a strong backend focus.

• Production experience building and owning agentic or LLM-powered systems with third-party API integrations.

• Experience with data infrastructure, event systems, and API integrations; familiarity with Python, TypeScript, LLMs, Shopify, Meta Ads API, TikTok Ads API, or Klaviyo is valuable.

• Experience leading or mentoring engineers, and a track record of prioritizing effectively and creating structure in ambiguous environments.

• Background at a high-growth technology company or well-funded startup, or early-stage experience building products from the ground up.

• Strong communication skills and a record of sustained contributions in prior roles.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $175,000 to $225,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available. Equity details were not provided.
