WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

As part of our team, you will participate in activities for the design, development and/or validation of diverse GNSS technologies and applications ranging from signal generation and signal processing to receiver development, positioning and navigation solutions.

Among your main tasks, will be:

• Design, implement and validate techniques and algorithms for GNSS signal generation, acquisition, tracking, demodulation, positioning and/or navigation.
• Develop and integrate GNSS software tools for experimentation, receiver prototyping, simulators and test platforms.
• Analyse GNSS signals and receiver performance using real and simulated data.
• Define and execute functional, performance verification tests.
• Contribute to technical documentation writing, supporting the features design, implementation and testing.
• Perform root cause analysis of functional, performance and integration issues.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

For this position, we are looking for Telecommunications, Computer, Physics or related Engineering graduates, with knowledge of and interest in Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), digital signal processing, and the development of positioning algorithms and applications.

The following skills are required:

• Fundamentals of GNSS systems, signals and observables.
• Digital signal processing and estimation techniques.
• Python programming.

In addition, will be considered a plus: knowledge of and experience with GNSS receivers, simulators or analysis tools, positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) algorithms, satellite-based augmentation systems and precise positioning techniques, RF and communications fundamentals, signal analysis and data-processing tools, software engineering methodologies, and version control tools such as Git.
